Acceptable Use Policy
What is and is not allowed when using the Datenix APIs, downloads, and website.

1. Allowed use
- Sales prospecting, lead generation, and account-based marketing at scale.
- Competitive intelligence, market sizing, and category research.
- Building internal dashboards, alerts, or analytics on top of our data as one input.
- Enriching your CRM with company information (industry, GMV band, platform).
- Publishing derivative research (blog posts, benchmarks, industry reports) with attribution to Datenix.
2. Prohibited use
- Reselling the raw dataset or exposing an unmodified passthrough of our API to third parties.
- Using the data to send unsolicited bulk email (spam) in violation of the CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR, or any equivalent anti-spam law.
- Attempting to re-identify a natural person from aggregated business records.
- Contacting individuals whose personal contact details you obtain from our data in ways that violate their local privacy or consumer-protection laws.
- Using automated tooling to bypass rate limits or usage quotas.
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or scraping our website or API in ways beyond your documented API quota.
- Using the data for any activity that violates Cloudflare's Acceptable Use Policy or Creem's Terms of Service.
3. Fair use of samples
The 10,000-row samples published under CC BY 4.0 may be used freely with attribution. You may not remove the attribution notice, and you may not republish the samples as-is on another data-marketplace claiming original ownership.
4. Data subject requests
If someone whose company appears in your Datenix-derived output asks you to stop contacting them, you must honour that request. If they claim their listing contains inaccurate or personal data, please forward the request to privacy@datenix.xyz so we can investigate at the source.
5. Enforcement
Violations may result in written warning, temporary suspension of your API key, or termination of your subscription without refund, depending on severity. Serious or repeated violations may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
6. Reporting abuse
To report someone abusing Datenix data, email abuse@datenix.xyz with the full request context (email received, headers, timestamps). We investigate within seventy-two hours.
